Rockstar Games has announced its downloadable content plans for their upcoming action-shooter revival, Max Payne 3, which is launching on 18 May 2012.
“The story of Max Payne 3 begins in the single-player game and crosses over into the deepest multiplayer experience we’ve ever created,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We intend to support the Max Payne community with new and innovative content well into the future.”
The DLC will include new multiplayer maps, modes, bursts, items, playable characters, and challenges, to be rolled out through the end of 2012 on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and PC.
The first Max Payne 3 map pack arrives in June 2012 – “Local Justice” includes the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes.
