Man hides cocaine bricks in Xbox, gets busted

7 May 2012

The Xbox 360 has now officially been added to the list of things you can’t smuggle drugs in after a man was arrested with a console stuffed with huge bricks of cocaine.

Carlos Valenzuela might actually have gotten away with it too, except he was pulled over by the rozzers after forgetting to indicate before turning a corner at an intersection in Texas. What a noob.

Police from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office reportedly noticed that Valenzuela was agitated and kept looking at a bag in the car, prompting the cops to search the car and turn up a big bag of nose candy. After bringing in sniffer dogs, two more bricks of the stuff were found inside an emptied Xbox console.

Valenzuela was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, and put on a $25,000 bail. And to think, all this could have been avoided if he’d just put the drugs in his bum like a regular smuggler.

Next up, FOX News manages to spin this entire story into proof that video games are addictive.
