Battlefield 3 has become a colossal entity in the FPS genre, as DICE’s modern shooter has racked up 6.3 million active users.

Battlefield 3 is “establishing itself as one of EA’s premier game services and in the process successfully took share in the growing First-Person-Shooter market,” said EA.
EA’s John Riccitiello also promised that the Battlefield franchise will be getting some exciting new developments as the new fiscal year progresses.
