Apparently Wolfenstein 3D has just turned 20, and to celebrate this event, Bethesda has released a free browser-based version of the original game to remind everybody what games were like before mouse-looking was invented. Spoiler: Not as awesome as you might remember.
But seriously, Wolfenstein 3D came out 20 years ago? Hold me, Quinton, I feel old.

For a limited time, the Wolfenstein 3D Classic Platinum edition of the game for iOS is also supposed to be free, although right now it’s still tagged at $1.99 on iTunes so I don’t know what’s going on over there. Perhaps it’s some sort of Nazi plot.

Ultima! The black gate was awesome, best RPG game you could get back then. You should do a article on that one, seeing as you can also play that on dosbox. I know it’s not the same, but it’s a great game and worth it.
I still have a original disk for it and about 9 other old dos games.
