Earn double XP in Battlefield 3 this weekend

11 May 2012

EA and DICE have announced that Battlefield 3 will be hosting its first Double XP weekend across all three platforms – PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

At the conclusion of each match the bonus XP will be reflected as “Additional Points”. Double XP will be accrued across all ranked servers and matches.

The Double XP weekend begins Saturday, 12 May at 09:01AM SAST and continues through to Monday, May 14 at 08:59AM SAST. All players participating in ranked matches will earn double XP across all maps and modes.

Since its launch on 25 October 2011, Battlefield 3 has become the fastest selling title in EA’s history, selling more than 15 million units since release – although EA recently revealed that 6.3 million of those are active users.
