The coyest developer in the industry is holding out on us again, and Blizzard fans are going to have to wait a very long time to get a glimpse of anything.
Notorious for their “when it’s done” approach to game development, it looks like Blizzard isn’t particularly close to having anything done, as they’ve declined to make a public showing of anything until August.
The developer has announced that once again they will be ruining gamer Christmas by not appearing at E3 for the fifth consecutive year, set to take place from June 5th to 7th in Los Angeles. Being the largest conference of its kind, its apparent Blizzard isn’t ready to show off their new goodies.
Even worse news is that Blizzard have re-iterated that there won’t be a Blizzcon in 2012, so there goes gaming Easter as well. Next they’ll tell us Diablo 3 was an April Fool’s joke that was delayed to May.
So no news on the Starcraft expansion packs or Titan MMO for now, see you all in August at Gamescom, where Blizzard say they’ll have something for us.
