Fan wins competition to become Uncharted character

15 May 2012

We’ve seen a recent interest from game developers who want to get their fans into the games they create.

Most recently, competitions have emerged to get yourself recreated as a character in the upcoming 007: Legends and The Walking Dead.

Uncharted developers Naughty Dog have also got in on the action by giving fans a chance to compete in order to become a new character in Uncharted 3’s multiplayer.

Sony invited 16 fans to Los Angeles to meet with writer and director Amy Hennig, Nathan Drake actor Nolan North and Elena Fisher actor Emily Rose, who would then judge the entrants in a number of different categories.

One man stood out – Jeremy Gallant, who impressed the judges with some interesting parkour skills and a unique look, which should both tie into the Uncharted 3 multiplayer scenario with ease.

Check out the video below, which fast-tracks the competition and give us an inside-look into Naughty Dog.
