Gearbox is hard at work on their sequel to 2009’s surprise hit Borderlands. The FPS-action-RPG hybrid will be taken to new heights with an expanded story and environments, and a claimed 60 hours of gameplay (if you endeavour to explore all the nooks and do all the side quests).
If bazillions of guns weren’t enough, Gearbox have increased the customisation and randomising elements of the game in order to produce even more weapons this time around, including millions upon millions of different shields and grenades. That’s a lot of shields and grenades – we’ll believe it when we see it.
Time has also treated Pandora well, with things looking a lot prettier and more colourful this time around, but that’s not going to stop the death and destruction across the wastelands, forests and snow-capped fields of Borderlands 2.
