Just Cause domains registered – are sequels are on their way?

21 May 2012

Not much has been said or heard from the Just Cause series since the release of the second game in 2010.

It is rather inevitable that a third instalment will happen at some point in time – but Square Enix are thinking even further ahead.

Just Cause 3 and Just Cause 4 domain names were registered by the publisher, as well as separate country-specific domain extensions.

The list of Just Cause 4 domains includes: JustCause4.com, JustCause4.fr, JustCause4.co.uk, JustCause4.de, and JustCause4.it.

Just Cause 3 hasn’t even been announced yet, although the domain was also picked up by Square Enix.

Whether it’s just to future-proof the domains as a defensive move or not remains to be seen. Maybe we’ll see super-agent Rico Rodriguez returning at E3 – just maybe.
