According to Fudzilla, Nvidia’s marketing Tom Patersen has spoken out against Intel marketing their i7 in a misleading manner.
According to Intel’ marketing department, a Core I7 920 CPU offers an 80 percent increase in gaming performance, which completely untrue, unless they mean over an original Pentium.
Petersen claims that this marketing pitch from Intel makes no sense and is in fact a “little disingenuous”. He then goes on to explain that gaming performance is far more dependent on the graphics card being used than the CPU, naturally.
Obviously Nvidia are getting annoyed with people spending their money on unnecessary and expensive high-end CPUs, as opposed to unnecessary and expensive graphics high-end cards like the GTX 295.
