Heavy Rain dev showing off new project at E3

29 May 2012

2010’s Heavy Rain was one of the most exciting and innovative games to come out for quite some time, and although it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, it was an ambitious leap in gameplay and immersion mechanics.

Developer, Quantic Dream is always pushing the boundaries and is looking to show of its new project when E3 swings around this year.

An inside source suggests that Quantic Dream founder, David Cage will make an appearance at the Sony E3 conference next Monday to reveal and discuss the studio’s new game.

It’s also understood that Quantic Dream is currently developing two unannounced projects for Sony, although it’s not certain what platforms they’re planned for.

The most recent work we’ve seen from the studio was their tech demo called ‘Kara‘, which was shown at the 2012 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in March.

Cage mentioned that the tech demo had nothing to do with their next project. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what Quantic Dream conjure up when E3 rolls around.
