Harmonix reveals first 15 Rock Band Blitz tracks

29 May 2012

Disco may or may not be dead, but plastic pretend-instruments and rock and roll live forever in Rock Band Blitz, the upcoming XBLA and PSN game.

The game will include 25 tracks at launch, and Harmonix has just dropped the first 15 so you can start planning your wardrobe changes. All tracks will also be playable in previous Rock Band titles, and all Rock Band DLC will work in Rock Band Blitz. It’s like the ultimate road show or something.

Let there be rock with the following lounge anthems:

  • All-American Rejects – Kids in the Street
  • Barenaked Ladies – One Week
  • Blink-182 – Always
  • Collective Soul – Shine
  • Elton John – I’m Still Standing
  • Fall Out Boy – A Little Less Sixteen Candles…
  • Foster the People – Pumped Up Kicks
  • Great White – Once Bitten Twice Shy
  • Iron Maiden – Wicker Man
  • Living Coulour – Cult of Personality
  • P!nk – Raise Your Glass
  • Quiet Riot – Metal Health
  • Rick Springfield – Jessie’s Girl
  • Shinedown – Diamond Eyes
  • Tears for Fears – Shout

The game’s due out sometime later this year, although no date or pricing have been confirmed.
