Xbox 360 a drug mule, again

15 June 2012

It seems like some people just aren’t impressed with the Xbox 360’s capabilities. If playing the latest games, media files and fronting a solid online service isn’t enough, one man also wanted his console to act as a vessel for his drug transportation business.

The Guyanese man was apprehended at a Jamaican airport after he was caught concealing 24 pounds of Cocaine inside his empty shell of an Xbox.

The man originally cleared Customs, but when he realised he had forgotten his drugs, er, console, he went back and got nabbed by Custom Officers after they scanned his neglected baggage.

A $5 million payout was said to be waiting for the perp on successful transport of the drugs.

This isn’t the first time that Microsoft’s console has been used to smuggle drugs, as another man was transporting cocaine in his Xbox 360 back in May.
