Skyrim Dawnguard DLC out next week

23 June 2012

Vampires have become a bit tame in the last few years, mostly due to their penchant for body glitter and weepy, androgynous schoolgirls.

Luckily Bethesda hopes to butch up their image again with their Viking-looking vampires in the upcoming Skyrim DLC pack, Dawnguard. Even better, it’s coming next week. Take that, Team Edward.

The expansion will be landing on June 26th for the Xbox 360 only – due to an exclusive deal with Microsoft, everyone else will have to wait 30 days before sinking their teeth into it (see what I did thar?).

The DLC carries a reasonably hefty price tag of 1600 MS Points, which is around R175 in African monies. Still, it does sound fun, and it’ll only be a matter of time before someone releases a mod that lets you suck the blood of children. Take that, Team Jack Thompson.
