It’s not even out yet, and Spec Ops: The Line is already expecting a DLC drop later this year. Okay, so maybe that’s not entirely unexpected, but here’s the good bit – it’s a free, co-op campaign add-on set prior to the events of the single-player game.
According to the official press stuff, the DLC adds four objective-based missions, featuring new locations and characters, with a big emphasis on – oh, you guessed it! – teamwork.
The DLC will launch on Steam, Xbox LIVE, and the PlayStation Network sometime in August, although no date has been confirmed yet. In the meantime, though, you can read James’s review of the game, which he managed to write without using a single the horror, the horror gag.
“Spec Ops: The Line comes with my recommendation for gamers seeking a well-rounded, action-packed story-driven romp through a unique environment,” he said. So there you have it.
