Rambo video game will make a debut at Gamescom

6 July 2012

If there ever was a man who deserved more video game time, its John Rambo.

The legendary mercenary has mowed down more generic soldiers than all the Call of Duty games combined, and Reef Entertainment have announced that they have been creating a Rambo game over the last year.

“We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August. During this time we have been dedicated to creating a video game for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle.”

This is just a hunch, but it’s probably going to be a third-person shooter, a first-person shooter, or a music rhythm game. I’m going with “Rambo: Dance or Die”.

The game is set to be unveiled at Gamescom in a few weeks, and let’s just hope it’s of the quality of the recently revealed Expendables 2 video game.

If they manage to get Sly to do the voice work or perhaps use sound bytes from the movies, that would awesome!!
