New ADSL pricing kicks in

Telkom’s annual tariff adjustment kicks in today (1 August 2012) which includes a price increase on analogue line rental charges and higher ADSL access costs.

From today, Telkom’s ADSL subscribers will pay R165 per month for Fast DSL (R152 previously), R299 for Faster DSL (R289 previously), and R425 for Fastest DSL (R413 previously).

Post-paid residential and business line rental increase by 6%. Residential subscribers will now pay R148.37 per month for their analogue line, an increase of R8.40 per month.

The installation charges including post-paid, PrepaidFone, ISDN, and DSL services will also increase by 6%.

The monthly rental fees on Telkom’s Do Broadband bundles remain unchanged.

The following table provides an overview of the old and new ADSL rates from Telkom.
