Darksiders II is still a little while away, but the action/adventure sequel has been given its first review, courtesy of German gaming magazine Consol Plus.
The game scored a 93% from the publication – an incredibly impressive score which will surely please THQ in their time of need.
In terms of specifics, the review praises the game’s deep loot system, dungeon design, puzzles, and epic and complex boss battles.
The review also mentions that Darksiders II features enemy-filled arenas that are extended into online leaderboards.
Darksiders II is slated for a 21 August release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
