Playstation All-Stars is “just a rip-off”, says Bayonetta director

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale has seen some criticism following the game’s uncanny similarities to that of Smash Bros, Nintendo’s original cross-game fighting title.

While the Nintendo community deem Sony as trying to duplicate Smash Bros’ success, no official developer has made any statements about the similarities between to the two games – until now.

Bayonetta, Okami, and Project P-100 director Hideki Kamiya responded on Twitter to a question, saying that Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is “just a rip-off”.

Kamiya, currently working at Platinum games, answered more questions are revealed that he doesn’t like the game, and  is not a fan of “rip-offs”.

We await Sony’s comeback…
