Only 42% of players finished Mass Effect 3

14 August 2012

Bioware has revealed that only less than half of all Mass Effect 3 players actually pushed through to the end of the game.

Fernando Melo, BioWare’s online development director, revealed during a talk at GDC Europe, that only 42 percent of players finished the sci-fi epic.

The completion rate is down from Mass Effect 2, which saw 56 percent of players finishing the game.

Melo also said that the completion rate for Mass Effect 2 did jump up early this year, due to players wanting to prepare their save files to import for the third game.

The developer said Mass Effect 1 only saw completion rates of 40 percent. Dragon Age: Origins was completed 36 percent while Dragon Age 2 was completed 41 percent.

Did you manage to finish Mass Effect 3? Do you always make an effort to finish your games?
