Duck and cover – Nuketown is about to be attacked… by zombies. It’s the one thing they didn’t prepare for. Unless it’s communist zombies, in which case I think we can call if a half/half.
Anyway, it’s official – the once idyllic US suburb is being added to the Black Ops II zombie mode map list. The news comes via the Call of Duty Twitter feed, which announced last night that “There goes the neighbourhood”, alongside this terrifying image:
I say terrifying because it looks like these zombies have learned how to write. Either that, or somebody decided to warn prospective visitors by writing “ZOMBIES” in his own blood, and then smearing some more of it around just for emphasis. I’m probably overthinking this.
It’s rather an amusing irony, of course, that a real nuke would instantly solve the problem, but where’s the fun in that?
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is out on 13 November. Keep up with all Black Ops II news and zombie sighting updates by consulting our ongoing game coverage. Being prepared is half the battle, people.
