Games you can play this week

3 September 2012

This week in games, a crime-fighter returns as Batman celebrates his highly-acclaimed sequel with the Arkham City Games of the Year Edition, while EA’s simulated humans get some an injection of the supernatural for their 4,568th expansion.

Batman: Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition

For those who never played Arkham City (or those who did, and want all the bells and whistles), Batman’s second current-gen adventure has got a GoTY edition which brings all the previously released DLC to the party.

Downloadable content packs included with the new version of the game are the Catwoman, Nightwing, Robin, and Harley Quinn’s Revenge add-ons, as well as the Arkham City Skin and Challenge packs.

Sims 3: Supernatural

Ok, it’s the seventh Sims 3 expansion, but still – seventh.

The expansion adds werewolves, fairies, zombies, witches and vampires characters, and gothic furniture and decorations, such as sliding bookcases and magical mirrors, as well as new career paths for fortune tellers and alchemy masters.

Players will also experience unique character traits such as delayed ageing for fairies and vampires, as well as spell casting for witches; in addition to potions and elixirs, which can be used to charm or curse Sims’ lives.
