Is Sony developing new exclusive?

9 September 2009

Rumours have surfaced that Sony may be developing a new exclusive PS3 first person title which could be either a continuation from an existing franchise such as Killzone 2 or a completely new project.

A recent posting on business orientated social site LinkedIn which is primarily used for professional networking shows that the Sony Computer Entertainment project manager Su-Cheng Wu is currently responsible for “producing all human faces for a coming soon AAA FPS PS3 title based on the MVP pipeline (RnD project that I led and its upgrade MVP-XP (Expression) Pipeline”

Su-Cheng Wu has previously been responsible for producing texture work in a number of projects including the dragon rail shooter ‘Lair’.

Sony has already confirmed the existence of Resistance: Fall of Man and Killzone 2 – both sequels to popular AAA PS3 exclusive titles.

Although the project Su-Cheng WU is referring to could indeed be one of these titles there is a possibility that Sony might be releasing a new exclusive franchise title for the PS3 within the foreseeable future.
