Apple has issued media invites for an event taking place in San Francisco on 12 September, 2012. This is expected to be an announce event for the iPhone 5.
According to Reuters, “the typically cryptic invitation said “It’s almost here”, sported a number 12 – corresponding to the date of the event – and cast a large shadow of the number 5, a clue that the fifth version of the popular smartphone could be in the pipeline.”
iPhones have become more than mere communication devices, and among all their uses, mobile gaming is a major feature of the device and its iOS platform.
Rumour has it that the iPhone 5 will sport a 4-inch screen, an increase on the 3.5-inch screen that has been standard on iPhones since their introduction.
