FIFA 13 demo goes live today

11 September 2012

The anticipated FIFA 13 demo is now live on Xbox Live, PSN, and PC for all you football enthusiasts.

Yesterday (10 September 2012), the FIFA 13 twitter account revealed the times to expect the demo on each format: “The FIFA13 Demo will be released tomorrow [11 September 2012] at 9am UK on PC, between 10am-2pm UK on Xbox 360, and between 10pm-2am UK on the PS3!”

Us South Africans use UK PSN and XBL stores, so we should see the demos popping up around those times.

Players will be able to select AC Milan, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus or Manchester City for a six-minute match during the day at Man City’s Etihad Stadium.

One of the first reviews, via GamesMaster magazine, has already arrived. GamesMaster rated FIFA 13 with a “91%,” and gave the game a glowing review. “Is it better than last year’s FIFA? Yes. The core game is simply the best football on console that there’s ever been. It’s exhilarating to play in multiplayer, and looks fabulous when you use any of the big boys”, said to magazine.

The review specifically praised many new features of the game, including the new Impact Engine and First Touch Control system, and “praises improvements in AI across attacking, defending and Career Mode.”

FIFA 13 launches in Europe on 28 September.
