After doing the big hit thing on PC and selling 1.6 million copies, Terraria is now coming to consoles, developer Re-Logic confirmed last night.
“I can’t say how excited I am to finally have Terraria come to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3,” creator Andrew Spinks said. “To see it come so far is a complete shock, especially after such humble beginnings. It’s always been my dream to have as many people as possible know and enjoy Terraria as much as I have, and this is another big step in that direction. I can’t wait for everyone to see the additional features that [505 Games] has been able to bring to this new edition of the game.”
Xbox and PS3 gamers, rejoice! PC gamers, not so much. In a epic-level display of internet rage, ve-ve-angreh PC gamers have inundated the game’s Facebook page with complaints and insults, like this one:
“f*** you redigit you peice of sh**….. i bet this was what was going through his mind towards computer people ‘ha you know all that content that you guys wanted….. yeah no im not giving that to you, nope if you want any new content you have to buy the f***ing game all over again on the f***ing xbox or playstation, lol u mad fans? well f*** you guys’ yeah officially you are the biggest peice of sh** in internet history you f***, i love how you pick a sad day in american history to make everyone pissed the f*** off at the same time”
Yes, I’m sure Re-Logic totally decided to make the announcement on 9/11 for that very reason.
For everybody else, the game is out on consoles sometime next year.

the PC gamers have raged over the console release is mainly due to the fact that they are EXCLUDED from the new content. The group that was the 1st to support redigit was basically handed a “F you no content for you” if it was being offered as DLC to get the same items there would be FAR LESS rage.
