Wii U games: what’s coming? *Updated*

With the Wii U finally getting a release date and some pricing details, it’s only natural to start anticipating Nintendo’s next console by looking at what we’ll be playing this holiday season.

Games that we know will be guaranteed launch titles include that of New Super Mario Wii U and Nintendo Land. The other entries currently fall into a Fall 2012 launch period, expecting that we should see them before the end of the year.

  • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
  • NBA 2K13
  • Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
  • Rabbids Land
  • Rise of the Guardians

While some of the games, like Darksiders II and Assassin’s Creed III, will be a little late on Nintendo’s console in comparison to other platforms, getting these games will be a big boost for Wii U owners. Having an exclusive Super Mario launch title is also something Nintendo hasn’t done in a while, and should please dedicated Nintendo fans.
