Mass Effect 3 multiplayer updates inbound

9 October 2012

Mass Effect 3 is set to receive a number of updates for the multiplayer component of the game.

A heap of new multiplayer challenges are to be added, which can earn you Challenge Points. By completing Gold Challenges, players can earn themselves a unique banner and title in the multiplayer lobby.

A new leaderboard and tracking system will monitor your progress as you complete challenges, along with a new H7 HQ web page that you can visit to check up how you’re doing.

The new challenge system will work with weekends too, as weekly Weekend Challenges will become available when an event is taking place. You’ll also be rewarded as soon as the event is done, instead of waiting till a later stage to get your Commendation Pack.

Some new kits and other unlockable surprises are also in-store with the next few updates.
