Medal of Honor Warfighter Beta is live

10 October 2012

While Medal of Honor: Warfighter launches later this month, you’re able to get your hands on the multiplayer beta right now.

Xbox 360 owners who have an Xbox Live Gold subscription will be treated to the beta free of charge.

With the beta going live on 5 October 2012, no pre-order incentives or previous game purchases are required.

Participants of the beta will receive an hour’s worth of double XP within the retail version of the game.  The multiplayer beta will also include the “Hotspot” mode, which is bomb defuse mode where teams must attack and defend selected objectives.

Hotspot is a radical take on the classic bomb defuse gameplay.  Five explosives caches are spread around a level, and each team must plant/defend 3 caches to achieve victory.

Medal of Honor Warfighter is set for release on the 26th of October.
