Gaming events this weekend

There are a number of gaming events to take note of this week, as gamers in the Witbank area and in Stellenbosch have some competitive gaming goodness to look forward to.

The Voodoo LAN in Witbank will bring PC gamers together for some frags and good times, while the FIFA 13 championship down in Stellenbosch will test out virtual football skills in the Western Cape.

PS3 gamers are given the chance of a lifetime as the GT Academy gets the greenlight, and SA players can compete online for pole-position.

Voodoo LAN – Witbank

Voodoo’s LAN is taking place in Witbank this weekend, offering gamers some PC action to get stuck into.

The LAN will take place at Els Street / Palm Road, Emalahleni, and will run from Friday evening to Saturday evening

FIFA 13 Championship – Stellenbosch

The FIFA 13 Championship in Stellenbosch will take place on Sunday, 21 October.

Held at Aandklas, the tournament will take the form of a seeding system.

There are prizes in the form of bar tabs up for grabs.
