The PS Vita has struggled to pick up sales momentum, which is mostly attributed to a lacklustre games library available right now. Fortunately some exciting titles are on the way, such as Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, due to release on the Vita the same day as Assassin’s Creed 3 does on PS3 and Xbox 360.
In a new gameplay video, writer Richard Farreese takes you through the game, explaining some of the features and how the touch screen has been integrated to deliver an experience that he claims is very similar to that of playing on a PS3. This involves the “chain-killing” feature, which in Farreese’s words is like “a symphony of death”.
The video clearly includes a bit of not-too-subtle Vita promotion, but if you can get past that it’s a great showcase of the gameplay and controls. Farreese also details the various goodies you get for owning both the PS3 and Vita versions of the game, check it out:
