    I whole-heartedly agree with your review – I didn’t really do anything except play the main missions, myself, because there’s just no driving force to do the other stuff. It’s a far stretch from building up and training new Assassins; or exploring ancient crypts for special armor; or building and repairing Rome.

    It feels like the real-world plot is drawing to a close, and there’s this sense of urgency – that you need to attain your goal, and there’s no time for this other nonsense – that the two worlds don’t mesh well.

    The game also doesn’t have the luxury of three game titles to develop Connor as a character, so he feels like a half-hearted job to me.

    (Also I choose busy cities with climable monumnets over airy-fairy nature, any day).
