While we’re all waiting in anticipation for the actual release date for GTA V to appear from Rockstar, South African online retailer Takealot has listed an arrival date for the game.
28 June 2013 is the date that has been attached to Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game, along with the pre-order price of R729 on either platform.
Rockstar has confirmed that the game will arrive in the “Spring 2013” period, making it Autumn in sunny South Africa
Takealot was contacted for clarification, with a representative saying that the date was added as normal procedure to allow pre-orders to open for the product. Therefore, the date will likely change.
According to Takealot, the official distributor of Rockstar Games in South Africa, Megarom has said that the only current official launch date for GTA V in SA is during the Autumn 2013 window.
