LittleBigPlanet gets free update

Developers Media Molecule today released the latest free update for popular PS3 exclusive platformer LittleBigPlanet.

The version 1.21 update, entitled Leerdammer features a number of improvements and additions, including a new ‘Online Mode’ which allows up to four players to simultaneously use cooperative level building.

Network code has also been improved in order to reduce general issues relating to lag and a location based matchmaking service has been added in order to ensure solid connections between players.

Other changes include tweaks to how LittleBigPlanet levels and profiles are saved and an increase in user data limit which allows players to double the number of photos and costumes that can be saved onto a single profile.
