Microsoft has added a region switching feature to Xbox Live, which allows users to migrate their accounts from one country’s service to another.
Migrating to a different region will still allow users to keep their Gamerscore, Achievements, Microsoft Points and remaining time on a Gold membership (if you currently have one).
Even though you can switch to a new region, you may still find specific apps, subscriptions and content blocked, due to “legal obligations or regional restrictions.”
Microsoft also warned users to download any purchased content before switching accounts.
“Before you change your region, make sure you’ve downloaded any purchased content you want to keep, like movies or music. Content purchases aren’t refundable,” said Microsoft.
The ability to switch regions is also limited to once every three months.

Why are we paying full price subscription when we (South Africa) can only see 1/4th of content available to the rest of the world?!
Why are we not seeing content that UK has?
Why can we not have the content dumped on local MS servers for download??
If we get 1/4th content, WE SHOULD PAY 1/4th !!!
Only REASON SEEMS MICROSOFT GETS AWAY WITH THIS IS BECAUSE YOU LET THEM.
