Capcom has confirmed the Resident Evil 6 PC will be available on 22 March 2013 in both digital and physical versions. Both versions will contain content added to the console versions post-launch: Ada Wong’s campaign from the outset along with the option to play this campaign with a co-op partner, and the ability to fine tune the in-game camera. As with the console releases, players of the PC version will also be able to take advantage of ResidentEvil.net.

Capcom also revealed that Resident Evil 6 PC will contain an exclusive gameplay mode – The Mercenaries: No Mercy.

This takes the classic The Mercenaries time-trial zombie slaughter mode, and adds more enemies on screen and the opportunity to generate high combo scores. The images below paint a pretty convincing picture of that statement.

All four post launch game add on modes – Survivors, Predator, Onslaught and Siege – will be available for PC owners to download and purchase shortly after 22 March. Any future title updates for the console version will also be made available free of charge for PC owners, Capcom said.
