id Software has released for free via Steam its official tool kit for the idTech 5 3D engine flagship title RAGE.

The 35GB download contains the wolrd-building tool idStudio, and all the maps and assetsused to create RAGE and its DLC expansion, The Scorchers.

Modders are warned that the tool kit is complex and aimed towards the “technically sophisticated and adventurous”.
