Over the weekend, Team South Africa took on the Spanish BF3 squad in the Nations Cup, and we’re happy to announce that Team SA came out tops.
The game against Spain took place on the Operation Firestorm and Operation Metro maps.
The team managed to beat Spain 2-0 ( 156 – 0, 29 – 0, 144 – 0, and 39 – 0), rounding off a solid performance for the team.
“It is a team based game; it is really hard to say we had a MVP,” said team captain Barry Louzada. “The entire team played really well and it was due to the combined efforts of all the team members that SA could pull off this win against Spain”.
The match itself was streamed via the Suumpmolk channel on Twitch TV.
The team previously played Russia, which saw the opposition win the first map 455-0 (tickets), while Team SA won 157-72 on the second map. Russia ended up victorious for having a greater overall score.
The team has a bye this week, but will face off against Bulgaria on Sunday, 3 March 2013 at 20:00, with the game viewable via live streaming.
Congrats to the team for their performance.
