Crysis mod sends you to Vietnam

18 February 2013

The Vietcry Crysis mod allows gamers to enjoy a CryEngine-powered romp through the Vietnamese jungles.

The new mod has been in development for around 10 months, and re-imagines the Crysis setting, essentially offering up an entire new game experience.

The mod strips all nanosuit abilities, and pits you as a normal soldier, relying on old-school med-kits and armour as opposed to invisibility and super-human strength.

The mod also features a new soundtrack and voice acting (although, it’s in German), and the mod manages to highlight how gorgeous Crysis still is.

So if you’re looking for your Crysis fix ahead of Crysis 3, but want something a little different, definitely give Vietcry a go.
