The PS3 World Nations Tournament is underway, where some of the world’s best teams are battling it out in Battlefield 3 on the PS3. Team South Africa were defeated by Swizterland in a tightly-contested match, but have now been handed the win after the Swiss were found to have cheated.
The scores were narrow ahead of the cheating, where the Swiss players used a game exploit to gain the upper hand.
A statement was published on the event Battlelog page, explaining the decision.
“Due to presented evidence of Swiss Team cheating (glitching) in yesterday’s match against Team RSA, we are going to forfeit Strike at Karkand (second map) in favour of Team RSA”.
“Swiss Team abused the game bug by spawning on glitched player, where they should have him suicide/reload the game. We also know that this player was not lagged out or freezed out as if that was the case player would be gone from that game. Therefore Swiss Team was fully aware of the glitch and intentionally abused it.”

I watched the video and I still don’t really understand what I just watched, aside from the obvious action. I don’t really play BF3 anymore either and I’m fairly noobish when it comes to this level of competitive gameplay, so I’d really appreciate it if someone could kindly explain what I’m supposed to be looking for?
