Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag confirmed

28 February 2013

Following from the hullabaloo surrounding the rumoured Assassin’s Creed IV details, Ubisoft has uploaded box art for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag to its Facebook page.

Whether or not Ubisoft is trolling us following all the rumours is a possibility, however, the box art itself does look legitimate enough to be real.

The box art uploaded are for the PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii U versions of the game.

Ubisoft then tweeted that all the details for the next Assassin’s game will be revealed on Monday, 4 March 2013.

So, it seems as if the rumours were true regarding Black Flag.

The alleged details that we currently know are that the game’s protagonist is said to be Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway, and grandfather of Connor from Assassin’s Creed 3, and that Havana, Kingston and the Cayman Islands will all appear in the game.

More to follow on Monday when the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag details roll in.
