In October last year developer Naughty Dog stated they were hoping for Uncharted 2 to outsell its predecessor. The original Uncharted sold 2.5 million copies worldwide.
According to VGChartz the game has sold 2.63 million copies worldwide, which means that Naughty Dog has met its goal to outsell the first game.
Uncharted 2 is one of the most critically acclaimed games ever made, earning a Metacritic score of 96/100.
