Call of Duty: Ghosts outed by retailer

25 April 2013

It’s a known fact that the Call of Duty series takes its annual release schedule seriously, dropping a game every year, so it’s no surprise that a new one is on the way. The next game has been rumoured to be named Call of Duty: Ghosts, and a new retail leak seems to lend weight to those rumours.

Tesco, a British retailer, listed box art for Call of Duty: Ghosts, for both Xbox 360 and PS3. The artwork has now been pulled, but as things go with the internet, it was too late.

The box art showed Infinity Ward as the developer, along with an 18 PEGI rating.

Tesco also released an online brochure showing some game specials, with the game having a release date of 5 November 2013.
