Project CARS video shows off max settings

Project CARS

A new community video has been released, showcasing Slightly Mad Studio’s new game, Project CARS (Community Assisted Racing Simulator), running on maximum settings.

The video shows the cockpit view from a BMW M3 on Germany’s Nuburgring racetrack. It also shows the real-time day-night cycle taking place.

The video is really impressive, but unfortunately Youtube’s compression doesn’t allow for a true 60 frames-per-second representation on what’s going on.

Slightly Mad Studios was previously behind Need for Speed: Shift and Shift 2, so there’s some racing-rim pedigree behind the development of Project CARS.

Project Cars is set to arrive PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U in 2014.
