Valve’s mind-bending puzzle platformer Portal is now available to play on Steam on Linux.
The addition of Portal is a great boost for Linux gaming, and the title joins the likes of the original Half-Life, Team Fortress 2 and Serious Sam 3: BFE.
Portal is priced at $9.99 (R89.50).
There are rumours that the sequel, Portal 2, is also available on the Steam Linux Client, but it is not currently listed as supported for Linux on the Steam CDR (Content Description Record) database.
The CDR Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.
