The H.I.V.E. is a new local gaming café and centre in Montecasino, Johannesburg, and the store concept is branching out with new outlets opening in Pretoria, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and Durban.
Pretoria will see a H.I.V.E store open at the end of 2013, with Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and Durban getting their branches in 2014.
The Johannesburg branch of the H.I.V.E. opened in April 2013, and features a PC LAN which gamers can use for R35.00 an hour.
There are a number of games available to play, such as Hawx 2, StarCraft 2, Black Ops 2, Battlefield 3, Guild Wars, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Dota 2, HoN, League of Legends, and Team Fortress 2, with more games expected to be added to the roster.
