The Batman: Arkham Origins Collector’s Edition details have reportedly been revealed through a leaked image, which shows the contents of the special version of the game.
The image appeared via PS3Gen, which reported that the picture originated from French game retailers. Our local chain of command, through Ster Kinekor Entertainment, could not comment on the leak as nothing official has been communicated by Warner Bros.
The image itself looks legitimate and shows some interesting items with the Collector’s Edition, such as:
- A unique challenge map/pack
- 2 pieces of DLC skins for Batman (looks like the Nolan Batman) and Deathstroke
- An artbook
- A holographic container for the game
- Steelbook
- The Pièce de résistance: a 23cm Batman/Joker statue
MyGaming has contacted Ster Kinekor, the local distributor of WB Games in SA, for pricing and availability info and we await their reply.
Batman: Arkham Origins will release on 25 October 2013 on Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
