South Park Stick of Truth DLC? “F**k that”

DLC is a highly-discussed topic by gamers, and during Comic-Con 2013 South Park co-creator Trey Parker expressed his views on turning content cut from a game into DLC.

Parker and Matt Stone, who are behind the TV series and game writing, created over 850 pages of material for the game after being inspired by Skyrim, but a lot of the content was cut before the game went into production.

“Everyone kept saying to us [make that extra content] DLC,” said Parker, to jeers from the crowd. “And I agree… f**k that.”

Parker and Stone said that they’d likely use the content and material for the show, as opposed to shoehorning it into the game.

South Park: The Stick of Truth may have had a speed-bump with the bankruptcy of THQ, but Ubisoft picked up Obsidian’s over-the-top and crude adventure, and it’s not looking to disappoint.

The game is scheduled for a Q4 2013 release.
