Jack Black is not unfamiliar to the gaming world, as the School of Rock actor has featured in Brutal Legend as the hero Eddie Riggs, and the beloved comedian is now in Tim Schafer’s new game, Broken Age.

Jack Black will play Harm’ny Lightbeard, a character you encounter in the game.

Also featured on the voice talent list is Richard Horvitz (Psychonauts), Nick Jameson (Full Throttle), Grey Delisle, and Cree Summer (Brutal Legend).

“I could not be more excited about being reunited with Jack, Jennifer, Richard, Nick, Grey, and Cree for Broken Age,” said Schafer.“The early voice sessions have been amazing, and we’re not even done yet!”

Double Fine’s Broken Age was a huge Kickstarter success when it was announced, smashing its goal and growing far beyond the expectations of the team.

Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives.

The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster–but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world.
