South Park: The Stick of Truth is Obsidian’s love-letter to old-school RPG fans and South Park fanatics alike, and the developer has announced that it will release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on 13 December 2013.
The game was originally supposed to release in March 2013, but was delayed as it needed more time in the oven and due to the bankruptcy of previous IP-holder, THQ.
Ubisoft picked up Obsidian’s over-the-top and crude adventure, and it’s not looking to disappoint.
MyGaming got to see The Stick of Truth at Gamescom 2013, and it looks just like the show in action, with the transitions between cutscenes to gameplay being difficult to notice, giving the gamer an experience that’s true to South Park; it even features an original story and writing from series’ creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
